Flow Control Holdings Completes Sale to Audax Private Equity

Flow Control Holdings (“FCH”), a premier provider of highly engineered flow components for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, and the parent company to both Steel & O’Brien Manufacturing (“Steel & O’Brien”) and Ace Sanitary (“Ace”), announced today the completion of a sale to Audax Private Equity (“Audax”).

Based in Cincinnati, OH, Flow Control Holdings offers a broad portfolio of sanitary and high purity products including pumps, valves, multi-use and single-use hose assemblies, fittings, and engineered solutions. FCH differentiates itself with a mission of equipping producers of food, beverages, and pharmaceuticals by providing simplicity and superior service.

Steel & O’Brien is pleased to announce the addition of Mylinda Plauman and Ahmed Lahrache to the team.

Mylinda Plauman joins the team as the Quality Lean Director and will establish a sustainable lean system and further strengthen the quality management system specifically through analytical and systematic improvement. Mylinda has 20 Years of Experience in Lean, QA, Operations and she plans to foster an environment of principle based continuous improvement through Steel & O’Brien’s lean journey and quality management system.

Ahmed Lahrache joins the team as the Operations Manager and will lead and drive operational performance by supporting, coaching and providing leadership to the operations team. Ahmed has 25 years of experience in operations (Engineering, Project Management, Lean Manufacturing) and he plans to create a sustainable culture of constant learning and continuous improvement.

Steel & O’Brien is pleased to announce the addition of Anthony Padilla and Joel Jimenez to the Inside Sales team.  “Both Anthony and Joel bring a diverse and impressive set of industry experiences, including time spent walking in the shoes of our customers.  We are excited about how their backgrounds and experiences mesh with our deep bench of sanitary experts that we believe to be second to none,” said Pete Beyette, General Manager of Steel & O’Brien.

Anthony started his career with Robert James Sales in Buffalo, NY and has over 20 years of experience in the industry.  “In my 24 years in the industry, I have found the key to servicing the customer is to go the extra mile and show passion for them. This helps build trust, loyalty and a long-term relationship with our clients,” said Padilla. Pictured on the left side.

Most recently, Joel was the Branch Manager for Duhig/Wolseley Industrial Group and has 20 years of experience in the industry.  “With speed and accuracy, kindness, and fairness, I’ll make you feel like you are talking to your buddy down the street,” added Jimenez. Pictured on the right side.

Anthony will be based in Southern California and Joel in Northern California, enabling Steel & O’Brien to continue improving service and simplifying our customers purchasing process. Anthony and Joel will be available to our Pacific Time Zone customers until the end of their business day.  This will ensure that our west coast customers are experiencing the same superior service that built our business.

Flow Control Holdings’ Steel & O’Brien Division Acquires Top Line Process Equipment

Flow Control Holdings, LLC, a premier provider of highly engineered flow components for market critical applications in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries, has announced the acquisition of Top Line Process Equipment, a division of Allegheny Bradford Corporation. “We are excited about the acquisition of Top Line Process Equipment,” said Phil Pejovich, CEO of Flow Control Holdings, LLC. “This acquisition expands our presence and product offering in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical markets. We are particularly excited about the Top-Flo^® brand of products, and its strong reputation in the pharmaceutical industry.”

The Top Line operations will be integrated with Flow Control Holdings’ Steel & O’Brien division in Arcade, NY. Already maintaining the industry’s largest inventory with over $25M of sanitary fittings and valves, Steel & O’Brien will make a significant investment in additional inventory of the Top-Flo^® line of products. “Our goal is to provide industry leading service levels for our highly engineered Top-Flo diaphragm valves, actuated valves and pumps, like we do for our fittings,” added Pejovich.
